Hello and welcome to Naomi’s Shepherds Huts.
We are situated just outside of Twycross, Leicestershire at Norton Barn Farm, on my family sheep farm.
The shepherds hut is isolated in its own part of the countryside, completely private and surrounded by nothing but fields, woodland, nature and possibly a few sheep.
Our luxurious hut is fully equipped with kitchenette, bathroom, mains power and water along with a log burner and heated flooring to keep you cosy at night.
Outside a fire pit, seating area and a wood fired hot tub awaits and is the perfect spot for you to BBQ whilst sipping wine enjoying the stunning view and sunsets, that are quite honestly out of this world.
Nearby a short drive away are lots of pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy.
Whether you enjoy a stroll down the canal path to a traditional English pub or an exquisite fine dining experience we have everything close by. Even a day out at Twycross Zoo.
I look forward to meeting you soon!

Charlotte26/08/2024Verified Although the shepherds hut was out of the way, the instructions the host provided meant we got there without any problems. The location was peaceful and private. Our only company was the sheep! The shepherds hut was clean, with everything we needed. And the outdoor area was charming. The perfect stay for a romantic getaway. Thank you x Rosie26/07/2024Verified Perfect for a short stay. We were surrounded with beautiful scenery (including very sweet and entertaining sheep), the out door furniture, fire pit and hot tub were perfect and we had everything we needed in our own little bubble - it really felt like we had escaped from it all. We received really warm and friendly welcome and felt at home straight away. Everything was so clean and modern inside the hut and had everything we needed for a two night stay. The on-sight butchers was brilliant and we bought a few goodies to take home with us which were amazing. Would definitely recommend ☺️ Laura23/07/2024Verified Beautiful place to stay, everything you need in the hut. So peaceful and plenty of places close by if you need anything. Definitely recommend and we hope to be back soon. Ellen21/07/2024Verified Beautiful shepherds hut just like the photos. Private location with only the sheep to keep you company! Great outdoor space and amenities - hot tub, firepit and table with beanbags with a view of fields as far as the eye can see. Inside was decorated lovely with small but self contained kitchen. It was British summer when we stayed so it did get quite warm inside the hut but there was a fan to try to help. Would defo recommend/ stay again!
Hi, I’m Rebecca Naomi Greenfield 28 years old and owner of Naomi’s Shepherds Huts that is situated on my family sheep farm in Twycross, Leicestershire.
We have more than just sheep on farm we have free range chickens for lovely fresh eggs and pigs that can been seen as you enter the drive on the left-hand side.
I have grown up on Norton Barn Farm from the age of 3. I have recently returned to my home after spending the last 7 years travelling the world as a professional dancer, dancing on cruise ships around the Mediterranean, dinner shows in Germany and Spain and at the world famous Moulin Rouge in Paris, 3 years before that I was training at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester.
I’ve decided it’s now time to settle down at home a little more (until that traveling bug bites again) and after toying over what I fancy doing next I came across the idea of having a shepherd’s hut I’d see many of them at country shows I’ve always taken to the idea. Especially as they can be super luxurious! and even though I’m a farm girl, your traditional camping is definitely not for me.
A shepherd’s hut however is right up my street, the perfect getaway in the country with all the added benefits of running water, electricity and heating, so there is your glam in camping!
Whilst completing my latest contract in Germany performing in a dinner show (where I was lucky enough to be dance captain). A spontaneous trip home on my two days off found me being picked up at 9am by my parents at Birmingham airport, and with very little sleep from performing the night before until 2am we hit the road. I have to mention that this was the first time I’d been home since the end of October, so my mum had packed all my christmas presents to open on my way down.
First, we travelled 2 hours to Welshpool, Powys to take a look at Black Mountain Shepherds Huts there we met Charlotte and Martin who talked us through all the options and features of a shepherd hut, with lots to think about we headed home. Next morning was an early start to go check out another hut designer/creator in East Sussex, 7 hr round trip. Heading home with yet more to think about. The next morning I hopped on a plane back to Germany to perform that night.
After taking everything into consideration and a week later I decided that I would ask Charlotte and Martin at Black Mountain Shepherds Huts to design and create my shepherds hut to be nearing completion for when I return in February.
After a little set back with a global pandemic I’m proud to say my huts is now completed and ready for your stay!
I look forward to meeting you.
Rebecca Naomi Greenfield.
